Disney - Marvel Studios 10
It’s been a legendary journey for Marvel Studios over the past 10 years. From the release of Iron Man to the record breaking Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War there have been some BIG moments in the journey.
Marvel Studios needed a site which reflected the impact it has made on popular culture in honor of Marvel Studios’ 10th Anniversary. As a massively successful franchise, there were multiple goals to consider and stakeholders involved. Theatrical, In-Home, Consumer Products, Disney Rewards and more all had a stake in the success of the site.
The fans wanted a single destination in which to search films, engage with Marvel Cinematic Universe content, track their activities and purchases and immerse themselves in the Marvel properties they love.
The solution was a modular site driven by a custom built CMS that handled multiple assets - movie posters, news items, videos, sweepstakes and more. The platform was robust enough to handle multiple content types and permissions from across the stakeholder set, but simple enough for busy marketing execs to use easily without outside support.
